This Privacy Policy explains how Royal Chicago Buses LLC (“Royal Chicago Buses,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit royalchibuses.com (the “Site”), request a quote, or book ground transportation with us. Royal Chicago Buses LLC is a Chicago, Illinois (Cook County) company. By using the Site or booking with us, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect
We collect the information you give us and a limited amount of information collected automatically when you use the Site.
Information you provide when you book or contact us
- Contact details: your name, email address, and phone number.
- Billing address.
- Trip details: pickup and drop-off locations, date and time, passenger count, and the vehicle you select.
- Payment information: your card payment is processed by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not collect or store full card numbers on our systems. Stripe handles your card data under its own privacy policy and security standards.
- Messages: anything you send us by email, phone, text, or web form.
Bookings are completed on a hosted reservation form provided by LimoExpress, our booking and dispatch software. Information you enter on that form is processed by LimoExpress on our behalf as a service provider.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and how you interact with the Site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
- Advertising and analytics identifiers: when you arrive from a Google ad or another link, we store advertising click identifiers (such as
gclid,gbraid, andutmparameters) in your browser’s local storage under the keyrcb_attrfor up to 90 days. We use this to understand which marketing led to a booking. See Section 4 for details and how to opt out.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide quotes, take reservations, schedule and dispatch your trip, and provide customer service.
- To process payments through Stripe.
- To send you transactional notifications about your booking and ride status by email and SMS (see Section 6).
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site.
- To measure the performance of our advertising and analytics (see Section 4).
- To comply with law and to protect our rights, property, and safety and those of others.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share personal information only as described below.
We share information with the following categories of service providers and partners (“sub-processors”) so we can run our business:

We may also disclose information (a) to comply with law, legal process, or a lawful government request; (b) to enforce our agreements or protect the rights, safety, and property of Royal Chicago Buses, our customers, or others; and (c) in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business, in which case we will require the recipient to honor this Policy.
4. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to run the Site, measure traffic, and measure the performance of our advertising. We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads through gtag/Google Site Kit.
For advertising measurement, we use Google’s Enhanced Conversions feature. When you complete a booking, your email and/or phone number may be converted into a hashed (irreversibly scrambled) form on our side and sent to Google so a conversion can be matched. We do not send your email or phone number to Google in readable form for this purpose.

Your choices for analytics and advertising
- Browser controls. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and clear your browser’s local storage. Some features of the Site may not work as well if you do.
- Google Analytics opt-out. You can install Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Ad personalization. You can adjust Google ad settings at adssettings.google.com and opt out of participating vendors at optout.aboutads.info.
- Global Privacy Control (GPC). We detect and honor a valid GPC browser signal as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. When GPC is present, we disable advertising cookies and stop sending your personal information to advertising partners for personalized or cross-context advertising; we may continue limited, privacy-protective measurement of our own marketing, and we do not use your information to personalize ads to you.
5. Illinois Privacy Notices
Biometric information
Royal Chicago Buses does not collect, use, or store biometric identifiers or biometric information — we do not collect fingerprints, face geometry, voiceprints, retina or iris scans, or hand or face scans from customers or website visitors. Because we do not collect this data, the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA, 740 ILCS 14) does not apply to our handling of your information. If this ever changes, we will update this Policy and provide the separate notice and written-release process that BIPA requires before collecting any such data.
Data breach notification
We maintain reasonable security measures to protect personal information. In the event of a breach of the security of personal information, we will notify affected Illinois residents as required by the Illinois Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA, 815 ILCS 530), in the most expedient time possible and without unreasonable delay. Where a breach affects more than 500 Illinois residents, we will also notify the Illinois Attorney General as required by PIPA. We dispose of records containing personal information in a manner that renders the information unreadable and unrecoverable.
6. Text Message (SMS) and Email Notifications
When you book a trip or request a quote and provide your mobile number, we send you transactional text messages and emails about your reservation — for example, booking confirmations, driver or vehicle assignment, pickup reminders, and ride-status updates. These messages are tied to a specific trip; we do not use this number to send you unrelated marketing unless you separately agree.
- Consent. By providing your mobile number during booking, you agree to receive transactional SMS messages from Royal Chicago Buses at that number, including messages sent by an automatic telephone dialing system. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing any service.
- Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on your booking activity.
- Rates. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
- Opt out. Reply STOP to any text message to cancel. You may also opt out by replying QUIT, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or OPT-OUT, by any other reasonable method indicating you wish to stop, or by contacting us at info@royalchibuses.com or (773) 923-0220. After you opt out, we may send one message confirming your opt-out. If you opt out, we may still need to reach you by phone or email about an active reservation.
- Help. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at info@royalchibuses.com or (773) 923-0220.
- Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
The information we collect through the SMS program is handled under this Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent with third parties for their own marketing.
7. Your Privacy Rights (California and Other States)
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information under your state’s privacy law (for example, California’s CCPA/CPRA). Where these rights apply, you may have the right to:
- Know and access the personal information we have collected about you.
- Request that we delete personal information we have collected from you.
- Request that we correct inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
We do not sell your personal information for money. However, our use of Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies and identifiers for advertising measurement may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under some state laws. You can opt out of this sharing by:
- Using a browser or extension that sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal — we detect and honor a valid GPC signal as an opt-out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising;
- Using the ad and analytics controls in Section 4; or

How to exercise your rights
To make a request, email info@royalchibuses.com or call (773) 923-0220. We will verify your request by confirming information we already have on file before acting on it. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf where the law allows. We will respond within the time your state’s law requires.
8. Children’s Privacy
The Site and our services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 for the advertising practices described above). If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at info@royalchibuses.com and we will delete it.
9. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, complete the trip you booked, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations — and then we delete or de-identify it. Advertising attribution data in the rcb_attr local-storage key and related Google Ads cookies are retained for up to 90 days. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings. Payment records are retained by Stripe under its own policies.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including processing card payments through Stripe rather than storing card numbers ourselves. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Where Your Information Is Processed
Royal Chicago Buses operates in the United States and intends our Site and services for users in the United States. We do not direct our services to individuals in the European Union or other regions with separate data-transfer requirements. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand your information will be processed in the United States.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
